Product Guarantee

In store guarantees of 30 days, or less, are provided on the return of merchandise in saleable condition, in the original packaging. Refund, exchange, or in-store credit are of Ottawa Fastener Supply’s discretion. Manufacturer warranties and/or guarantees apply in the event of defect. Returns on special order items is conditional on the manufacturer’ approval. Handling charges may apply.

Pricing

Published pricing is subject to change or correction without notice. Prices do not include P.S.T., G.S.T. or H.S.T. All prices are in Canadian funds and will be billed in Canadian Dollars. Payment Terms of 30 days on approved credit, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, debit or cash.

When is my credit card charged for my order?

Credit cards are charged immediately prior to shipping.

Minimum Order

Ottawa Fastener does not have a set minimum order value.

Delivery

Deliveries are FOB at Ottawa Fastener Supply Ltd’s – Ottawa warehouse.

Freight

Unless otherwise stated with the order, Purchaser will pre-pay for any freight costs associated with delivery. Additional charges or services incurred in transit or at the destination will be the responsibility of Purchaser. Title and risk of loss will pass to Purchaser upon delivery to the common carrier.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates to be determined by weight and size of order. The value of shipping will be provided to the customer before billing, and shall be incurred by the customer. Ottawa Fastener Supply reserves the right to determine the shipping company, and all orders are subject to a minimum $5.00 shipping charge.

Damage Claims

All damage claims are at the discretion of Ottawa Fastener Supply Ltd. All damage claims shall be dealt with on an individual basis.

Returns

All returns approved by Ottawa Fastener Supply must be accompanied by a return merchandise authorization. All product must be returned in its original form and be devoid of damage, markings or modifications.

Force Majeure

Ottawa Fastener Supply will not be liable or held responsible for any delays or losses resulting, directly or indirectly from Acts of God, severe weather conditions, labor disputes, governmental actions, inability to obtain permits, licenses, raw materials or shipments of product, war, riots, shortages and any other circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control.

Orders Terms

All orders must be received with a cash payment or purchased through Visa or MasterCard. For approved Purchasers with established and acceptable credit, the terms of purchase are Net 30 days from date of shipment. All payments must be in CAN Dollars. Any credit applied to the account of Purchaser must be used within one (1) year and any credits remaining after this time period will be subject to cancellation if not used or requested. If an open account Purchaser fails to make full payment within thirty 30 days from date of shipment, Ottawa Fastener Supply may defer any further shipments or other orders, or cancel any portion of an unshipped order. Ottawa Fastener Supply reserves the right to charge interest at the rate of 18% per annum (1.5% monthly) or at the highest rate available under applicable law, to any account balance exceeding the terms set forth herein. It is understood and agreed that Purchaser will pay, to the extent permitted under law, all reasonable costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees and costs incurred by Ottawa Fastener Supply in connection with any collection action for payment of the amounts due herein.

Product Selection and Suitability

Most products offered by Ottawa Fastener Supply are obtained from multiple sources, located throughout Canada and the United States. Many provinces, states and localities have codes and regulations governing sales, construction, installation, and/or use of products for certain purposes, which may vary from those in neighboring areas. While Ottawa Fastener Supply attempts to assure that its products comply with such codes, it cannot guarantee compliance, and cannot be responsible for how the product is installed or used. Ottawa Fastener Supply makes every reasonable attempt to ensure the quality of these supply sources and the products they offer. As these products are dynamic and versatile, Ottawa Fastener Supply shall not be responsible for how products are used or installed and the product’s conformance to local or regional codes or regulations. Please review the product materials and application, and relevant code, regulations or ordinances, to be certain that the product, its installation, and use will satisfy these requirements. In no event will Ottawa Fastener Supply be responsible for any loss or damage arising out of the Purchaser’s improper selection, misapplication or misuse of a product.

Errors

Ottawa Fastener Supply is not responsible for incomplete, lost, illegible, misdirected or stolen messages, orders or mail, incomplete, delayed, garbled, or failed transmissions. Ottawa Fastener Supply also reserves the right to correct or adjust pricing in-store or on the website without notification.
